This event continues to be a big attraction in the Chequamegon Bay and Apostle Islands area on Lake Superior. It is welcomed by the public each year as a parade of high performance poker run boats are displayed at the Ashland and Bayfield marinas during the event. Enthusiasts of this unique sport return each year to observe or participate in the event while patronizing local businesses. We continually strive to improve this first class event and would welcome your involvement in helping to achieve the following goals:

create an annual high performance powerboat event that will promote responsible boating and recreational activities in the Apostle Islands and surrounding areas.
