2005 Comment Cards

Our 1st annual event created a great deal of controversy and publicity in newspapers throughout the upper Midwest.  Not knowing if negative emails were an indication of a majority or minority opinion in the area, we decided to place a comment box on the pier at the lunch stop in Bayfield where a number of protestors were organized.  The comment box was left unattended for a period of about 3 hours.  Participants did not fill out a card.  We have published every comment that was received below including the negative ones.  Based on the warm welcome and applause we received upon our arrival to Bayfield, along with the overwhelming support indicated in the comment cards below, we look forward to returning to Bayfield for our lunch stop in 2006.  Click the arrows to scroll through the cards.
